My Worst Travel Experiences: Airport Confusion and a Goa Trip

What’s the worst travel experience you’ve ever had?

I’ve had a few unpleasant travel experiences, but thankfully, not too many!

One incident happened in Mumbai. My departure terminal was changed, and I had to get to the correct terminal, which took some time. That airport is huge, and even when terminals aren’t very far apart, Mumbai traffic can make the journey feel much longer. Thankfully, I’d reached the airport early, so I had enough time to get to the other terminal.

At another airport, I ran into a different problem. I had to remove my laptop and carry it with me as cabin baggage while sending the rest of my luggage through the check-in counter. You see, I was working as a Technical Support Engineer at the time, and I had to carry tools such as screwdrivers, a crimper, and other equipment. These weren’t allowed in my cabin baggage.

For a few minutes, I was tense, wondering how to manage everything. Then I came up with an idea: I took out only my laptop and a plastic carry bag and sent everything else to the main baggage counter. Problem solved!

And how can I forget the diarrhea incident during our trip to Goa? Let’s just say it wasn’t the kind of travel memory I wanted to bring back! 😅

Thankfully, these are just a few incidents among many travels that went smoothly.

What about you? What’s the worst travel experience you’ve ever had?
