Always get to know your surroundings and stay aware of what’s happening around you. It’s very important.

When visiting new places, people may try to scam or overcharge you because you’re unfamiliar with the area and may not know the local prices or places.

It’s better to learn a little about your destination beforehand and then travel. This may not always be possible, but try to gather as much information as you can.

Also, keep your money in multiple places. If you lose your wallet or some cash, having money stored elsewhere will always be useful.

When you’re out and about, be extra careful.

Try to book hotels in safe areas, and plan your journey so you can reach your hotel before nightfall.
