I’d love to meet authors like J. R. R. Tolkien or Terry Brooks.

Whenever I read their novels, I wonder how they come up with their ideas and learn to write so well. How do they know whether their stories will be well received by readers? How do they develop the confidence to believe that their stories are worth telling and will eventually become successful?

I know that writing a novel takes an enormous amount of time and effort. Authors may spend hours, days, nights, months, or sometimes even years working on their stories.

Of course, writing is only one part of the book publishing journey. I’d also love to know how they find the right publisher and navigate the process of getting their books published.

I have so many questions I’d love to ask them. Meeting these authors would be an opportunity to learn about their creative journeys, challenges, and experiences firsthand.
