Gratitude, Mind Control, and the Art of Listening

What’s the most underrated life skill?

View all responses

I think it’s gratitude. We don’t appreciate it as much as we should. We often forget to be grateful for what we already have.

Next is knowing how to control your mind. We experience thousands of thoughts and emotions every day, but we don’t have to act on all of them. Learning to pause, understand what we’re feeling, and then choose how to respond can prevent many unnecessary problems in life.

Listening is another underrated skill. People seem to have less patience nowadays, and they don’t always listen to each other. Just think for 10 seconds before you act or respond. I think that simple habit can be very helpful.

What do you think?

  1. There are some situations that made me impatient, and I dislike whenever I feel it. Right! Gratitude, as my friend said is attitude.
