If there is one thing that would instantly improve my city, I would increase its greenery.
Bengaluru is known as the “Garden City of India,” but I feel the city is slowly losing some of its greenery. Every year, trees are removed for various development and infrastructure projects, and I wish this could be reduced as much as possible.
I would love to see the government take stronger action to protect existing trees and plant more trees across the city. Development is important, but so is preserving the natural character of Bengaluru.
Another major problem in the city is traffic. I wish the traffic department would come up with more innovative ways to reduce congestion. Technologies such as smart traffic signals and better real-time traffic monitoring can help, but Bengaluru needs even more creative solutions to tackle its traffic problems.
For me, a greener and less congested Bengaluru would be a much better city to live in.
