Try your best not to get attracted to everything that catches your eye and buy it immediately.

True, souvenirs are memories, and we do want to bring something back from a trip. But we should be careful not to spend too much on things that we may not really need.

Because when we spend all our money on shopping and later want to experience something special, what happens if there is no money left for it?

For me, when traveling on a budget, experiences should come before things. A souvenir may remind us of a trip, but the experience itself is something we will remember for a lifetime.
