If the salary was the same, what job would you be doing right now and why?

Honestly speaking, my current salary is far less than what I had hoped for. Right now, one of my biggest goals is to clear all my loans and other financial commitments. For that, I know I’ll need a lot of money.

More than anything, I dream of becoming financially independent. I want to reach a point where money continues to come to me even when I’m sleeping. After all, wouldn’t that be the ultimate form of financial freedom?

As for the job I would choose, I’d rather be a farmer.

Farming is good for both the body and the mind. Instead of sitting at a desk for hours every day, we can work with our hands, stay active and move around throughout the day. It’s a natural way to leave behind a sedentary lifestyle.

And then there’s the peaceful village life.

Working the soil, growing our own food, eating fresh home-grown produce, breathing cleaner air and living away from the noise and pollution of the city—that sounds wonderful to me. It would also mean having a much more active and healthier lifestyle.

So, if the salary were the same, I would choose farming without hesitation.

Ultimately, though, my dream is slightly bigger than just choosing a job. I want to build enough financial freedom that money keeps flowing to me even while I sleep.

And once I have that freedom, I’d love to spend my days farming, living peacefully in a village and enjoying a simple life close to nature.
