I can relate to Harry Potter to some extent. When I started reading initially, some characters and traits are similar and that is one of the reason I love HP the most.
Apart from him, I relate even more to Shiva from The Shiva Trilogy by Amish Tripathi.
Like Shiva, life has shown me both its positive and difficult sides. Coincidentally, my own name is also associated with Lord Shiva, which makes that connection feel even more meaningful.
Before reading The Shiva Trilogy, I appreciated Lord Shiva as one of the principal deities in Hinduism, but I wasn’t particularly devoted to Him. The books changed that. They encouraged me to learn more about Lord Shiva beyond the fictional story and sparked a deeper appreciation for His symbolism and teachings. Sometimes, a good story becomes the doorway to exploring something much older and more meaningful.
One of the biggest lessons I took from the series is that every person carries both positive and negative traits within them. What truly defines us is the choice we make about which traits we nurture and live by.
