Not just one book or one movie, there are many that inspired me to travel. In fact, it wasn’t only books and movies. TV shows and documentaries also encouraged me to dream of exploring the world, even though I haven’t done it yet.
As a child, I was always a “stay-at-home” kid. I rarely went outside to play. I was perfectly happy spending my time reading books or watching TV.
Apart from cartoons, I loved watching channels like Discovery Channel, National Geographic, and Animal Planet.
Those shows quietly planted a dream in my mind. They made me want to witness the beauty of nature and experience the incredible diversity of our planet with my own eyes.
Ironically, this “stay-at-home” person later had to travel across India for work. I met new people, visited new places, tasted different varieties of food, and experienced different modes of transport. Every journey taught me something new.
Maybe someday I’ll travel around the world. In fact, I believe I will. God has given me these eyes to see the beauty of this world, and I intend to do exactly that.
