When I was younger, I wouldn’t eat certain homemade dishes. I knew they were healthy, but I still refused to eat them.
Things changed when I joined college. There was no option anymore, whatever was prepared was what I had to eat.
When I started working, life wasn’t easy for the first few years. I had to adjust to whatever food was available. Gradually, I learned to enjoy whatever was placed in front of me. Today, I can happily eat almost any type of food without my mind putting unnecessary restrictions on it.
The second thing is traveling.
As a child, I was always a “stay-at-home” kid. Ironically, after I started working, my job required me to travel for nearly half the days each month. Someone who hardly traveled suddenly found himself visiting places all over India.
I left that job after six years, and I don’t travel much anymore. But those experiences changed me. Today, I genuinely want to explore this beautiful world, and I hope to go on a world tour someday.
Life has a funny way of changing our paths if we let it. It gives us choices. If we have clear goals, we can continue toward them. Otherwise, life sometimes chooses a path for us. In my case, it led me down a path that turned out to be good for me.
I’m grateful to Him for watching over me and guiding me.
Om Namo Venkateshaya 🙏
