Why Can’t We Remember What Happiness Truly Felt Like?

What if we could copy our happy feelings into a device and experience those feelings again whenever we wanted?

Didn’t get it?

Those who know the Harry Potter universe will definitely know about the Pensieve. We can extract a particular memory and store it in the Pensieve. Later, when we look into it, we can experience that memory as if it just happened.

I want the same concept, but instead of memories, I want it for feelings.

Why did I think about this?

When we truly feel that something has already happened and experience those feelings within ourselves, I believe it eventually manifests in the outside world. I believe we have that power.

To achieve something, our feelings have to be genuine and in sync with the universe. In my case, when I try to feel that way, the feeling just doesn’t come. It’s as if I have forgotten the complete emotion connected to a happy memory.

I remember that I was happy, but I can’t recall the full feeling of that happiness. It’s strange.

It’s strange that our brains can remember facts about a memory but not always recreate the emotions attached to it.

I was thinking about ways to achieve this, and this idea came to my mind.

What do you guys think?
