What’s something you used to worry about but don’t anymore?
I was a person with very low confidence and low self-esteem throughout my childhood. I always believed that without my father’s support, I wouldn’t be able to survive in this world.
As they say, when one door closes, another one opens. A door closed for me, but another opened as well.
When my father passed away six years ago, my world came crashing down. Suddenly, a huge responsibility fell on my shoulders. It was during that difficult phase that I began gaining the wisdom I needed to move forward in life.
Reading books has always been my favorite pastime, and they became my greatest teachers. They gave me knowledge, perspective, and confidence. Slowly, I started moving forward with courage.
Today, I find myself in a much better place than I ever imagined. In fact, I never thought I would become the person I am today.
Sometimes, I wish I had gained this knowledge and wisdom earlier. Perhaps I could have taken better care of my father, and maybe he would have lived a happier life. That thought will always stay with me, but it also reminds me to value the people who are still with me.
Life is a journey filled with lessons, not just about the world, but about ourselves and the people around us. Every experience teaches me something new. I’ve developed a certain level of self-awareness, but I know I still have a long way to go. I’m still a work in progress, and I’m happy to keep learning.
Through my blog posts, I try to share the lessons I’ve learned in the hope that they might help someone who needs them the most. At the same time, I continue learning from the wonderful blogs written by fellow readers.
Thank you, everyone. ❤️🙂
