A Simple Dream: Peace, Books, and a Place Called Home

Daily writing prompt
If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?

It depends on my stage of life.

Right now, I’m living where I want to live.

By the time I retire, I’d love to build a beautiful home in a quiet village, far away from urbanization, with my own private library where I can spend my retirement in peace. That would be bliss.

If I ever had to live somewhere else, I’d choose a place with quiet neighborhoods, less traffic, and less pollution. Even then, I don’t think I’d stay there for long because, for me, there’s no place better than the one where I was raised. That’s just how I feel.

I’d also like to experience living alone for a while if I had the chance. But eventually, I’d always come back home, no matter what.

I know it sounds a little weird, I want to explore the world, but I also want to come back and live where my heart truly belongs.
