My Biggest Sleep Challenge Isn’t Falling Asleep

Daily writing prompt
What do you do to improve your sleep?

Thank God that I get good sleep and don’t have any sleep-related health issues.

The problem isn’t my sleep, it’s me.

Whenever I decide to sleep on time, I somehow delay it by another two or three hours. If I could simply go to bed on time and wake up on time consistently, I’d probably feel even healthier and more energetic.

For me, good sleep is actually quite simple. I just need to lie down in bed. There shouldn’t be any light in my room, all the lights have to be off. I also prefer complete silence, because even small noises can make it difficult for me to fall asleep.

One thing I try to avoid is waking up in the middle of the night. If that happens, it can take me hours to fall asleep again.

Sleeping is also one of my greatest happiness.
