Do you believe in minimalism?
Another repeat prompt again! I think I answered a similar one just last month.
Yes, I do believe in minimalism at least to some extent.
I think minimalism is essential for a peaceful life. Too much clutter, whether physical, digital, or mental, can make life unnecessarily complicated.
I try to follow minimalism when it comes to my mental and digital space. I prefer keeping distractions low and focusing on what truly matters.
Physical minimalism, however, is something I haven’t fully embraced yet. I still have quite a few things lying around that I probably don’t need.
Financially, I also try to follow a minimalist approach, but I fail miserably in one particular area: books.
I buy far more books than I can realistically read. Some sit untouched on my shelves for months or even years. Yet every time I see an interesting title, I convince myself that I’ll definitely read it someday. Maybe.
So while I support minimalism in theory, my book collection has declared independence from that philosophy. When it comes to books, there is absolutely no minimalism for me. 😆
