This was such an enjoyable read. I love how you balanced humor, melancholy, and emotional depth without losing the atmosphere of the world you created. The idea of an undead legion asking for a holiday was already brilliant, but the ending gave it unexpected heart. “The dead forgot war for one night” is a line that genuinely stayed with me after reading.
