How I Realized Fitness Is Mostly a Mental Battle

Daily writing prompt
How can you build a regular fitness routine?

If I want to, I would do it.

But I ask myself “Do I need to do it?”

That’s where the problem lies.

“Procrastinator” in me doesn’t let the “fitness guy” to do the fitness regime and the battle is lost there immediately.

I have so many characters like the lazy guy, fitness freak guy, divine guy,….etc , just saying.

In the beginning, fitness depends on motivation. Later, consistency takes over where motivation fails.

Start small activity and gradually increase it. That is always the best fitness routine for newly starting the regime. After that, consistency comes into picture.
