Our minds are fickle. Even when we want to say “yes,” it often says “no.”
That’s why the mind needs training. It shouldn’t control us, we should learn to guide it.
Sometimes, saying “no” is not just important… it can shape the direction of our life.
My mind used to be very slippery, constantly pulling me away from what I wanted to do. Even now, it still happens, but much less than before, thanks to meditation and mindfulness.
One thing I’ve learned is this:
If you don’t give your mind something meaningful to focus on, it will take control and lead you away from your goals.
So train it. Guide it. Give it purpose.
Because a disciplined mind is the difference between dreaming and achieving.
