The Pair of Shoes That Finally Fit Me — And Followed Me Through Life’s Wet Roads

Tell us about your favorite pair of shoes, and where they’ve taken you.

I have a unique story with footwear. My feet are long and slim, almost like a lady’s foot, so normal shoes rarely fit me. Most of my life, I had to adjust with whatever sizes were available. Either they were too tight or too loose, but I still wore shoes almost all the time.

Then one day I bought a pair from Adidas, and for the first time, a shoe fit perfectly. Since I’m a little bow-legged, I used to feel self-conscious wearing shoes, like they didn’t look stylish on me. But with this pair, I actually felt cool. That was a surprisingly good feeling.

After my 30s, I stopped wearing shoes daily and only wore them for long trips or special outings. Yet whenever I wear these Adidas shoes, they somehow always get wet — rain, puddle splashes, even once while crossing an overflowing lake.

I still have them.

That’s my shoe story. 😅

    1. If I was in the same environment as you…I try not wear anything at all most of time …. Because walking on earth barefoot gives good feeling for me…. Also it’s beneficial for overall health too 😁
