You get some great, amazingly fantastic news. What’s the first thing you do?

If I receive some great, amazingly fantastic news, the very first thing I would do is thank God. Of course, without Him, it would not have been possible. I would be overflowing with gratitude, so much so that I would want to go to His abode and express my devotion.

Next, I would share the news with my family and simply watch the joy light up their faces. That shared happiness would make the moment even more meaningful.

I would also make it a point to give charity to people in need. As the saying goes, “Manava Sevaye Madhava Seva”, service to humanity is service to God. Helping those in need would feel like the most natural and fulfilling way to honor the good news I received.
