Learning to Stop Seeking Validation

Tell us one thing you hope people say about you.

I have always had the urge for people to call me good. But impressing people is a tough job.

Satisfying every person is never possible for me. I’ll still try and fail always.

Strangely people want to think about negative points of a person and would like to gossip more. Over time, I understood that caring too much about what others say only drains our peace. So I usually don’t care about what people say about you.

What we think about ourselves is important.

I’ve struggled with low self-confidence for a long time. But slowly, consciously, I’m changing that. I’m learning to move forward without constantly seeking validation, and to trust my own intentions instead of fearing others’ judgments.

If there’s one thing I hope people say about me, it’s this:
He tried to be sincere — even when it was hard.
