Dream Big, Ride Slow

What is your all time favorite automobile?

First time, when I got interest in car was around 2004-2005. My school friend had a book and it had colorful photo of this car – Ferrari Enzo, it was beautiful and I loved it very much.

It was beautiful. The sleek design, sharp curves, and aggressive stance made it unforgettable. For many boys growing up in that era, a sports car like this was the ultimate dream. Somehow, the Ferrari Enzo stayed with me and became my all-time favorite car.

As I grew older, my perspective changed slightly. I started thinking practically — if I were to buy a car in India today, which one would be the best for me? So I began researching cars seriously. That’s when I came across the Tata Altroz

The Altroz impressed me for many reasons. It is stylish, budget-friendly, and most importantly, one of the safest cars in its segment. With 5-star ratings in both Bharat NCAP and Global NCAP, along with a strong and sturdy build, it felt like the perfect balance between safety, design, and practicality. I realized this was the best car for me.

As I’ve mentioned in many of my earlier posts, during my childhood I used to do a kind of daydreaming at night — visualizing my life from different perspectives. In that I have designed a car with latest technology & magic. It’s a silly idea, I know. It was black, super, ultra modern and it had all types of features. It can go anywhere, had rocket boosters, and so on…

My all-time favorite car movie is Ford v Ferrari.

Finally, I want to mention the only car game I play even today — Asphalt 8. It has amazing graphics, a huge collection of cars, and very engaging gameplay. I’ve been playing it for a few years now, and it still feels exciting.

Owning a supercar and riding a sports bike are both on my bucket list. They represent speed, power, and a certain dream I’ve carried for years.

But at the same time, riding my own 125cc scooter gives me a different kind of happiness. I enjoy slow cruising at minimal speed, feeling the road, the breeze, and the moment itself. There’s no rush, no race — just me and the ride.

Riding, in any form, gives a sense of freedom and enjoyment. It doesn’t always have to be about going fast. Sometimes, it’s about slowing down and truly enjoying the journey.
