Knowing Yourself: From Family Respect to Helping Others

Do we really need to know about yourself ?

This is a journey which seems endless. In my case, I stumbled upon it accidentally. God led me towards it. Maybe….but I did find something….

As I have told before in so many posts, books are an amazing things in this world. Thank God that He has given us books.

My steps in knowing about myself started in below order

  1. Gratitude
  2. Books
  3. Conversation with wise people
  4. Self help videos
  5. Reflection & Self-awareness

Why do we need to know about ourselves?

To be honest, in my case, I want to become financially stable. Our family should be respected and around the middle of this “knowing” journey, I found a need to help others.

This has been my base until now.

But the main problem which I faced(still facing) is uncertainty about what I really need. It seemed like my brain literally freezes and became lethargic every time I think about it.

It’s filled with chaos, but I trust in God and He is with me always.

Journey is not over yet and it is ever going. It became clear that I have to follow my Dharma and I will somehow do it.

But my search for myself, knowing about oneself and about this universe goes on.

I know, this post is the outcome of all this chaotic and messed up mind(mine) 😉.

Thank you for reading this post until now.

The journey of knowing ourselves is never truly finished. It is a path of gratitude, wisdom, and faith — sometimes chaotic, sometimes clear, but always worth walking.
If you’ve ever felt the same uncertainty, I invite you to pause and reflect: What steps have guided you toward knowing yourself? Share your thoughts in the comments.

PS : I was inspired and wanted to write this post after reading a poem from one of the bloggers here. Thank You Aparnaji 😀
