Why I’d Never Go to the Moon—But Would Pay to Chase Moonlight on a Beach

Daily writing prompt
How much would you pay to go to the moon?

I wouldn’t pay to go to the moon. I’m not interested anyway. What’s there? Just white rocks, less gravity, no air, no sound—only a fleeting moment where you see the Earth from afar.

But I would pay a lot to visit a secluded beach with my loved one on a full moon night. There’s something magical about spending the night by the sea, with the moon hanging above.

I love watching full moon in the sky. I used to watch the moon from my home’s terrace on full moon day. It feels so calm, peaceful and something mesmerizing watching the moon. The moon, glowing softly above the waves. The hush of the ocean. The breeze brushing against your skin. My heart would feel lighter, as if all my burdens quietly disappeared.

I think I would be very happy spending this moment with my loved one. Just being there with her, sharing the silence, the moonlight, the waves. It would be very romantic. I hope it would happen soon.
