I’ve Never Traveled Far—But Here’s Where I Want to Go

Daily writing prompt
Share a story about the furthest you’ve ever traveled from home.

“Oh, the places you’ll go!” – Dr Seuss

The farthest I’ve ever traveled from home was to Delhi, the capital of India. It was for office work, so I didn’t get to explore much—just a quick business trip. In fact, I wasn’t in Delhi for more than a few hours, since most of my time was spent commuting to Noida.

I’ve always been more of a homebody than a traveler. I haven’t traveled much in my life, but the desire to see the world has never left me.

Some of the places I want to travel include

  • Rio – Especially I want to see the world famous Carnival
  • London
  • New York
  • Tokyo
  • Paris
  • Cairo
  • Ancient Ruins of Greece
  • Istanbul
  • Hawaii
  • Great Barrier Reef, Australia

Other than places or tourist destinations, I want to see natural wonders of our world. I want to witness the raw beauty of our planet: the mountains, forests, oceans, and skies that remind us how vast and wondrous the world truly is. And along the way, I’d love to taste the diverse flavors of global cuisine—humble meals, street food, and traditional dishes that tell stories of their own.
