The Last Thing I Googled: A Tiny Office Ritual

What was the last thing you searched for online? Why were you looking for it?

If by ‘thing’ you mean the kind of search where we type a term into Google, then yes—my last search was for my IP address yesterday evening.

Why? Because I was setting up a new PBX system and needed to whitelist my IP address in the firewall. It’s one of those small but essential steps—if I don’t allow my IP, I risk getting locked out during future sessions. And when you’re knee-deep in telephony configurations, the last thing you want is to be blocked by your own system.

I used search term “my ip” and I found my IP address in the first link.

You know…typical office stuff….
