It’s never easy to pick favorites when it comes to movies—there are just so many that have left a mark on me over the years. What I’ve shared below is a spontaneous list of films that came to mind immediately. Some are timeless Telugu classics, others are modern and trend-setting. A few belong to other languages altogether, but each one has resonated with me in its own way.

- Maayabazaar(1957) : A mythological fantasy based on the Mahabharata, where Ghatotkacha uses magical tricks to unite lovers Abhimanyu and Sasirekha, defying royal politics. Celebrated for its visual effects and timeless storytelling.
- Adithya 369(1991) : A man and woman accidentally travel through time—visiting a glorious ancient kingdom and a dystopian future—while trying to stop a diamond thief. A sci-fi adventure blending history, action, and social themes.
- Jalsa(2008) : A carefree man with a tragic past becomes a vigilante against a mafia don. Comedy, romance, and action blend as he protects his love and confronts his demons.
- Athadu(2005) : A hitman wrongly accused of murder assumes a dead man’s identity and finds redemption in a loving family. A gripping mix of action, mystery, and emotional depth.
- Oosaravelli(2011) : A hitman with a chameleon-like personality falls for a woman with a tragic past. He seeks revenge against the gang that destroyed her family, revealing layers of deception and sacrifice.
- Arya 2(2009) : A psychotic yet lovable man competes with his childhood friend for the love of a woman. Obsession, sacrifice, and emotional chaos define this intense romantic drama.
- Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi(2008) : A shy man transforms into a flamboyant dancer to win his wife’s love, who doesn’t know his true identity. A tale of love, identity, and devotion.
- Mungarumale(2006) : A young man falls in love with a woman engaged to another. Set against monsoon rains and lush landscapes, it’s a poetic story of love, sacrifice, and heartbreak.
- KGF part 1 & 2 : Rocky, a poor boy turned gangster, rises to power in the gold mines of Kolar. He battles ruthless enemies to fulfill a promise to his mother.
- Transformers franchise(Hollywood)
- Marvel Cinematic Universe(Hollywood) and many more.
This isn’t a definitive ranking—just a general list that reflects my current mood and memory. If I were to sort by genre, language, or emotional impact, the list might look very different.
