Past, Present, and Future: Where Should Our Mind Be?

Do you spend more time thinking about the future or the past? Why?

Spending too much time thinking about the past is often futile. The future is where change is possible.

The past contains both positive and negative experiences. Remembering positive moments can inspire us, but dwelling on negative ones only fills us with regret and heavy emotions. These emotions often lead to further negativity, creating a cycle that serves no real purpose. After all, the past cannot be changedโ€”unless time travel becomes real ๐Ÿ˜‚โ€”so there is little value in clinging to it.

The future, on the other hand, is still unwritten. It is something we can shape with our thoughts, choices, and actions. Having a goal, staying positive, and learning to control a chaotic mind opens the door to new opportunities. When intention meets effort, chances begin to appear.

And finally, the present is where everything actually happens. We must do our duty, focus on our work, and give our best in the moment. The rest, we can leave to God.

Just do your partโ€”everything else will follow.
