Finding Playtime in Daily Life Through Games, Books, and Creativity

Daily writing prompt
Do you play in your daily life? What says “playtime” to you?

I like to have fun. When I do some activities like playing games like Honkai Impact 3rd, mostly watching reaction videos in youtube, watching anime, reading a good book, writing a blog, etc.

These days, I mostly play Honkai Impact 3rd and have recently started playing Minecraft. I had heard about this game earlier, but a recent conversation between a girl and her father sparked my curiosity and made me want to try it.

What truly attracted me to Minecraft is the freedom it offers—especially in creative mode, where you can build anything. The only limit is imagination. I have always dreamed of designing a giant castle in my fantasy world, and now I feel I can bring that dream to life here. I’ve already started by building a small home and am slowly working on it.

Just yesterday, during a visit to a mall in Bangalore, I bought a book titled Fractal Mandala – A History of Ancient India. I originally went to buy Dan Brown’s The Secret of Secrets, but since it was sold out, I ended up discovering this book while browsing. It explores the journey of Indian civilization from its origins to modern times, and it has been a fascinating read so far.

For me, these activities are my playtime. They help me relax, learn new things, and keep my mind engaged in creativity and imagination
