Make no mistake—I’m not writing about religious beliefs. No, I’m writing about belief in general.
Belief is everything in our life. I believe it is the most primal feeling in the world. You see, even here I say “I believe.” This feeling pervades everyone in this world.
For example, if a person believes they can recover from an illness and follows healthy habits, their positive mindset often speeds up healing. But if they believe they will never get better, they may lose hope and worsen their condition.
Journey starts at an young age
When I was a kid, I used to watch Power Rangers. I don’t remember which version exactly, but when the characters believed it was real, they gained powers and fought the bad guys. I thought, “Just believing gives them powers. Is it that easy?” Later, I realized it was only a show and no one could get powers like that. But in a sense, the belief of those heroes was true, which I understood much later.

Around my 8th grade, my favorite show was Pokémon. My whole school loved it. At that time, there were frequent power cuts in our area, and I often missed episodes. One day, I was sad because I missed an episode, and I discovered something unusual: if I thought in the opposite way, I might get what I wanted.
So the next day, I believed wholeheartedly that there had to be a power cut. Miraculously, there was no power cut, and I watched the episode happily. I felt that believing in the opposite worked like a charm. But soon I discovered it wasn’t that easy. Some days I was successful, and some days I failed.
Eureka – found something in my college days
In college, I realized that believing in the opposite was not the correct way. How did this realization come? Books and gratitude helped me. I was always grateful to God in both good and bad times. Even in the worst situations, I didn’t blame Him—I was thankful for whatever He had given me. And books, they are my longest friends to this day. They offered me companionship, knowledge, and wisdom. They gave me a world to live in when I was tired of the real one.

In one book, I read that a soul can be weighed and that focused thought has power. Something clicked in my mind. I realized that my belief in opposite thinking was actually “focused thought,” and that’s why I was sometimes getting the results I desired. By focusing on the opposite, I was concentrating deeply, and that focus brought results.
But I still didn’t understand why I failed half the time. Eventually, I knew it was time to leave behind this “opposite thinking.”
I read more books and discovered new lines of self-help knowledge. And it all comes down to a few simple truths—one of them being that belief is everything.
If you believe you’ll always be in debt and keep thinking about debt, you’ll stay in debt. But if you shift your focus and believe that opportunities will come to make more money, you’ll find those opportunities—and they can help you clear your debt.
Control your mind – it’s very important

The real challenge is our minds. I wish I could go back in time and learn from a young age the art of controlling the chaotic mind. Even today, I’m still trying. I’ve achieved some control, and with that, I’ve reached a milestone I once thought impossible.
I have yet to achieve more. To do that, I must keep my mind focused, calm, and full of belief. I believe I can do this—it may take time, but I know it’s possible. You may think it’s easier said than done, or you may not believe this will work—but hey, you’re already believing something here… lol.
Conclusion

Belief has guided me through every stage of life—from childhood dreams to adult challenges. It has shown me that what we hold in our minds becomes the path we walk. If we believe in failure, we stay stuck. If we believe in growth, we move forward. Belief is not magic, but it gives us the strength to act, to focus, and to keep going even when life feels heavy. I know I still have more to achieve, but I also know that with a calm mind and steady belief, nothing is impossible. Belief is everything—it is the beginning of change, and the power that turns dreams into reality.
Your story changes the moment you choose to believe in it.
