Introducing Gratitude Day: A Powerful Pause for Thankfulness

Invent a holiday! Explain how and why everyone should celebrate.

Maybe a “Gratitude Day” where everyone should feel gratitude on that full day. Forget about everything and focus only on gratitude. In fact, I can 100% say that all the good in life is due to gratitude. Gratitude Day invites us to step into that energy fully. To forget everything else — the deadlines, the regrets, the noise — and focus only on what we’re thankful for.

How to celebrate : Giving token of gratitude, immersed in grateful thoughts about your friends, family, God or whatever which made you grateful.

Why to celebrate : Being gratitude is essential and when you are in this mode, you’ll feel certain positive energy. All your worries and anxiety will disappear for sometime. On this day, we can even be grateful to the person which we may have forgotten and due to this, we can take the chance to do something good for that person.

You’ll feel it — a shift. A lightness. A sense of peace that doesn’t come from fixing your problems, but from remembering your blessings. Gratitude doesn’t erase pain, but it transforms how you carry it.
