Exploring Alternate Careers: From Heart Surgery to Novel Writing

What alternative career paths have you considered or are interested in?

As a child, I was captivated by history. Not just the dates and battles, but the grandeur—the kings seated on imperial thrones, the majestic forts, the etiquette of royal courts. I would imagine myself walking through ancient palaces, deciphering the secrets buried beneath stone and silence. That’s why I once dreamed of becoming an archaeologist. Even today, I find comfort in historical documentaries, letting the past whisper its stories to me.

There was also a fleeting wish to become a heart surgeon. It wasn’t born from ambition, but from a child’s simple awe—at the precision, the responsibility, the miracle of healing. That dream didn’t last long, but it left a mark.

Now, my aspirations have shifted. I wish to be financially independent—not just for security, but for freedom. I’ve started small, building multiple sources of income, learning as I go.

I believe I could be a novelist. Not just to tell stories, but to explore ideas, emotions, and the quiet truths that shape us. Maybe it’s my way of blending the past with the present—of turning reflections into resonance.
