I’ve been thinking about this question. Learning the Angerthas Moria runic system—the Cirth script used by the Dwarves in Tolkien’s legendarium—and writing stories or reflections in it.
It sounds niche. Maybe even whimsical.
Back in college days, I had deciphered the runes on Balin’s Tomb and the decorative scripts in the headers and footers of The Lord of the Rings. It was thrilling—like unlocking a secret language. That experience stayed with me. It was fun, yes, but also deeply satisfying.
Here’s my name in Angerthas runes

So maybe, someday, I’ll return to those runes. Learn them properly. Write something in them. Not because I have to. But because it would be beautiful.
