From On-and-Off Interests to Lasting Purpose: A Journey of Self-Discovery

What’s something you would attempt if you were guaranteed not to fail.

For me, maybe I’d launch that creative project I keep circling around. A space where I could blend personal growth, mythology, and anime wisdom. I’d write more vulnerably, speak more openly, and trust that the right people would find it.

Because the fear isn’t just about failing—it’s about being misunderstood, or not being ready, or not being enough. But if failure wasn’t an option? I’d go all in.
And here’s something I’ve noticed about myself:
First of all, if I’m genuinely interested in doing something—that’s what matters most to me.

When that spark of real interest is lit, I don’t just dabble. I start the activity and stick with it, whatever it takes. That inner drive, once activated, becomes the fuel. It’s not about external motivation—it’s about something clicking inside me. And when it does, I follow through.

So I have been trying to find what really interests me. I have so many, but they are all “On & Off” interests. They are good for me, no doubt about that. However, a desire or passion which sticks in my head always is the best solution to bring out my true hidden potential. It’s like finding true purpose and works towards it. I do hope I will find it soon…..

And if you’ve found ways to uncover your own purpose—or even small clues that helped—I’d love to hear your tips.
