I’ve never been particularly drawn to brands. Growing up, we found good products wherever we went, and I didn’t pay much attention to labels. Big brands often delivered quality, yes—but I also realized early on that branding is just a tag. The same item, without that tag, could be sold for much less. Add the brand, and suddenly its perceived value skyrockets.
For me, uniqueness mattered more than brand loyalty. I’ve always preferred trying things that felt a little different. For instance, I chose stock Android phones because they offer a clean UI—free from ads and unnecessary bloatware. In contrast, many popular brands layer their own OS on top, cluttering the experience. That’s just my take, of course.
That said, I do try branded products occasionally—especially when they’re known for consistent quality.
