Self-Improvement Goals That Actually Matter: My ‘Plus Ultra’ List

Daily writing prompt
What could you do more of?

To live more fully, love more deeply, and contribute more meaningfully. I have to do something…Here’s where I’m standing today:

Earn More Money

Not for luxury, but for freedom. More money means more choices—less compromise, more generosity. It’s not about chasing wealth blindly, but about building a life where I can support others, invest in my dreams, and create a home that reflects my values. I want to explore multiple income streams, not just to escape dependence, but to embrace abundance with intention.

Discipline Myself More

Discipline isn’t punishment—it’s devotion. It’s the quiet ritual of showing up, even when motivation fades. I’ve realized that talent without consistency is like a lamp without oil. Whether it’s writing, working out, or simply sticking to a morning routine, I want to build habits that honor my goals and tame the chaos of my mind.

Increase My Brain Power

Not just IQ, but clarity, focus, and emotional intelligence. I want to read more deeply, reflect more often, and train my mind to stay present. Whether through meditation, journaling, or learning something new every week, I believe mental strength is a muscle—and I’m ready to lift.

Gain More Weight

This one’s personal. I want to nourish myself—not just to look better, but to feel stronger. To eat with awareness, move with purpose, and build a body that supports the life I envision.
